Armchair no.4801 was designed by Joe Colombo, Kartell, Noviglio in 1963/1964. It is a special lounge chair made of 3 wooden elements which looks very fluid – a characteristic of Colombo’s work – and though the design looks simple, the technical development took two years. The main element creates the base and the back and the other two create the seat and the backrest. It has rubber stoppers on the top and the bottom of the base element. It comes in various woods but the original was molded, lacquered plywood. Dimensions: 25″w x 26″d x 23″h.
Charles & Ray Eames La Fonda Armchair

The La Fonda Armchair was designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1961 for a restaurant interior in New York. It has an aluminum base and a plastic and fiberglass shell with a cozy interior covered in colored fabrics. The design was developed by Eames Office according to the criteria mentioned by the New York restaurant manager (the backrest had to have the same height as the table), and was mass-produced. Dimensions in inches: 24 width, 23 diameter, 29 height.

The round upholstery elements come in various colors and they are sustained by leather belts in black or brown. It is accompagnied by an ottoman with a similar structure and design.
