Designer: Poul Kjrholm

Designed: 1956

The PK61 coffee table was designed by Poul Kjrholm in 1956. It has a very simple design: a marble top over a matte chrome steel frame. The original has a marble top but currently it’s available also with a glass top. The legs are on the sides of the corners and not on the corners themselves. It is an austere, heavy table, “functionality focused”. Dimensions: Depth: 90.0cm, Width: 90.00cm, Height: 41.00cm

Designer: Isamu Noguchi

The Noguchi Coffee Table is one of the best examples of “mid century modern design”. It was created by the designer with the same name in 1944 and was made for A. Conger Goodyear, President of the Museum of Modern Art. It’s a simple, beautiful design made of glass with ashwood or solid walnut legs. It’s an anthropomorphic table with a freeform, put into production in the early 1950s. The Noguchi Coffee Table was originally designed in 1944 and is a simple, yet beautiful design is made of only three pieces – a glass top, and two joining wood pieces for the base.
