The Noguchi Coffee Table

The Noguchi Coffee Table is one of the best examples of “mid century modern design”. It was created by the designer with the same name in 1944 and was made for A. Conger Goodyear, President of the Museum of Modern Art. It’s a simple, beautiful design made of glass with ashwood or solid walnut legs. It’s an anthropomorphic table with a freeform, put into production in the early 1950s. The Noguchi Coffee Table was originally designed in 1944 and is a simple, yet beautiful design is made of only three pieces – a glass top, and two joining wood pieces for the base.
Dimensions: H 15 3/8 x D 36 1/4″ x W 51 1/2″.

Ghost Chair

Designed: 1987

The Ghost chair was designed by Cini Boeri and Tomu Katayanagi in 1987 and is a classic in many museums. It is made from a massive piece of thick curved glass and can support 330 pounds. The glass is 12 mm thick and the chair has the following dimensions: 37.4″ x 29.5″ x 26.75″; seating height is 12.5″

Atollo lamp

The Atollo table lamp was designed by Vico Magistretti in 1977 and it’s a work of art. Its shade is made of opal glass, as well as the foot. Its magic consists of its structure: the top section contains two lamps and the cylinder foot is another separate lamp. There are 4 models of Atollo lamp (233, 235, 236, 237) with different heights and diameters – from [Height: 350mm x Diameter: 250mm] to [Height: 700mm x Diameter: 500mm] and it comes in three different colors. Due to its structure, it uses 3 bulbs: 2 X 60W max for the top and an E14 base bulb.

Bauhaus lamp

The Bauhaus lamp has a modern classic furniture design. It was design by Wilhelm Wagenfeld in 1923 while he worked in Bauhaus, specializing in metal processing. The lamp was ordered by Lszl Moholy-Nagy and manufactured by one of Wagenfeld’s Swiss co-workers. It is one of the most famous lamps in the history. It has an milky-glass shade (inside opal glass; outside clear glass) with chromium-plated steel frame, and a glass body with an On/Off switch with a chain hoist. This elegant and chaste design makes it perfect to locate it on reception desks, living rooms as well as nightstands. Measures: 18cm diameter and 36cm height.
