Armchair no.4801 was designed by Joe Colombo, Kartell, Noviglio in 1963/1964. It is a special lounge chair made of 3 wooden elements which looks very fluid – a characteristic of Colombo’s work – and though the design looks simple, the technical development took two years. The main element creates the base and the back and the other two create the seat and the backrest. It has rubber stoppers on the top and the bottom of the base element. It comes in various woods but the original was molded, lacquered plywood. Dimensions: 25″w x 26″d x 23″h.

Designed: 1957

Isamu Noguchi is one of the most famous designers of the 1950′s. The Cyclone Dining Table was designed in 1953 and was meant to be a rocking stool made of wood and metal wire. Later on it was manufactured in various sizes and it became a small table, too. In 1957 the small table became a full size table at the suggestion of Hans Knoll, who is still producing them to the present day. The table has a sculptural base made of chome plated steel wires. these wires connect a black iron foot and the wooden top. The top comes in black, white or walnut and is made of a laminated 12-layer plywood. Today the table comes in three sizes: is 28.5″ tall and the top can have 36, 42 or 48″ diameter.
