The Tatlin sofa was designed by Edra in 1989. A gorgeous spiral piece for a lounge or a reception area, covered in red velvet. The base is made of plywood and steel. The spiral is made of molded foam. Besides the velvet cover, the sofa is available also covered in various fabrics or leathers. Dimensions. W. 210cm. H. 136cm, D. 170cm.

The Barcelona daybed

Designed: 1929/1931

The Barcelona daybed was designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe for the King and Queen of Spain in 1929/1931. Other sources say that was used for the first time in in New York in 1930 by Philip Johnson and was labeled as “furniture for a bachelor’s apartment”. The bed is hand made from 72 individual leather squares sewen together (low quality reproductions use only one piece of leather). The base structure is made of steel and the left hand rear leg has the signature of Van der Rohe. Knoll Europe is the sole registered manufacturer for this bed.

The PK31-1 / PK31-2 is a sofa group designed by Poul Kjaerholm. It comes in one, two or three seater versions and is famous for being part of the transatlantic 707 flight to Paris in the early 60s. The upholstery is made of Italian leather and comes in 15 colors, it has stainless steel frame and legs and the six cushions are specially designed to hold downing.

Isamu Noguchi Freeform Sofa

The Freeform Sofa was designed by Isamu Noguchi, companioned by an ottoman, in 1950’s in a limited number. Noghuchi has a predilection for sculptural lines and this sofa embodies this perfectly. Currently is produced by the Vitra Design Museum as an authentic re-edition. The designer described his work as a “soft rock”, thanks to the organic shape and the upholstery fabrics that have natural color tones (removable). Despite the voluminous form, both the sofa and the ottoman look light, thanks to the natural colors and wooden legs (made of maple or walnut)
